Chennai: The newly-elected Tamilnadu functionaries of the Indian National League were sworn in, during the party’s general body meeting held recently.

The meet that was conducted on 21 and 22 December in Chennai’s Triplicane, saw Muneeruddin Sherif taking oath as State president, while Zakiruddin Ahmed, Rahamathullah and Syed Sadan Ahmed being sworn in as general secretary, National youth secretary respectively.

In a press release here, the party stated that its members expressed their gratitude towards the frontline personnel including doctors, nurses, policemen and cleaners who worked tirelessly to protect people during the ongoing pandemic.
