Ajith starrer ‘Viswasam’ which was released in January this year was a blockbuster.

Directed by Siruthai Siva, it featured Nayanthara opposite Ajith. The film is all set to be remade in Kannada, and Shiva Rajkumar has been approached to reprise Ajith’s role in the film.

Sources say that Shiva Rajkumar has already watched Viswasam and expressed his interest to be a part of the remake. He loved Ajith’s performance in the emotional drama and said that the content of the film will work with the Kannada audience.

The actor will sign on the official agreement in a couple of days. Other cast and crew are yet to be a finalised.
