Actor Jai Akash is back after a brief interval to play a police officer in a movie titled Thol Kodu Thozha. Written and doirected by debutant Goutham, the movie features three newcomers Hari, Rahul and Prem. Mumbai girl Akshuitha and Bangalore model Jayashree play heroines. Nasser, Aadukalam Naren, Singampuli and Muthukalai play key roles.

Camera is by K S Selvaraj and music by Leo Peter.

Produced by First Look Pictures, the movie went ion floors yesterday.

Speaking about the film, Gautham, says, ‘The crux of the movie is about disgruntled unemployed youth, who take to wrong path. The need to reform them is the crux of the movie’.

Thol Kodi Thozha will be shot in Chennai, Pondicherry, Ooty and Cochin. Few important scenes would be canned in Malaysia.
