The teaser of Suriya’s much-awaited Kaappaan was out on Tamil New Year’s Day. Directed by KV Anand and bankrolled by Lyca International, the teaser was filled action-packed stunt sequences and some hard-hitting political dialogues.

The movie also stars Mohanlal, Sayeesha, Arya, Boman Irani among others. Music is by Harris Jeyaraj. Set for releasse this August, Kaappaan‘s teaser features Suriya perforing dardevil action scenes.

Sources say that Suriya plays a NSG Commando, while Mohanlal dons the role of Prime Minister.

Meanwhile the title of Suriya’s film with Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara was revealed Saturday. The movie has been named Surtrari Pottri. Aparna Balamurali plays the heroine. Music is by GV Prakash.
