Kalpoondi Welfare Trust, Saligramam, conducted Panguni Uthiram thirukalyana utsavam in a grand manner at Sri Visalakshi Ambal Sametha Sri Viswanatheeswarar temple, Kalpoondi, in Tiruvannamalai district, recently.

The festival saw the participation of devotees from Kalpoondi village and Chennai. In the morning, Rudhra homam and Rudhrabhishegam were performed by the Sivachariyars.

Later, they held theerthavari on the banks of the Kamandala Naga river for Swamy and Ambal. Then, there was annadhanam for all devotees.

Thirukalyana utsavam started at 7 pm and concluded at 9 pm. Prasadam was distributed to the devotees.
