Rameswaram: A 12-foot missile part weighing about 800 kg was washed ashore in Pudukudiyiruppu in Ramanathapuram district yesterday. It had the logo of Brahmos on it, said media reports.

The locals notified the authorities and the ‘Q’ Branch Police took charge and retrieved it.

It is suspected that the missile part might have fallen from the skies into the sea during tests and got washed ashore by waves.
