Students of Velammal Main school, Mugappair campus participated in the Shankarlal Memorial Trophy and bagged the first place in the U-14 category, among 12 teams.
The team was awarded a trophy and players received certificates. The tournament was organised by Shasun Jain College, T Nagar.
