A special programme titled En Manathil MGR is to be aired on 17 January on Makkal TV between 7 pm and 8 pm, marking the birth anniversary celebrations of the former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu.

The programme will feature views and opinions of youth on MGR’s charisma on silver screen, politics and public life and expressed in various forms such as Oration, Essay, Poetry, Painting and Rangoli.

Produced by Dr. MGR-Janaki College of Arts and Science for Women and directed by Thurai Nagarajan of Boon Fun Media, ‘En Manathil MGR’ telecast is to be interlaced with memories on Dr. MGR and song sequences from his films.
