With mounds of debris lying on the sides of Ninth Street at Kumaran Colony in Saligramam, it has become very difficult for the pedestrians to walk.

“For a long time, we have been asking for a pavement to walk. But, all we have got is the debris,” said R Joshua, a resident.

He said that the debris was left by the construction workers of a house nearby. “We asked them to clear the place. But, they did not respond. We raised a complaint with the Corporation officials to look into this two weeks back. But they too yet to respond,” he said.
