Chennai: Two resolutions, one stressing that the Tamilnadu government not allow Karnataka to construct a dam across the Cauvery at Mekedatu at any cost and another seeking the waiver of farmers and education loan in the Cyclone Gaja-affected areas were passed during the high-level meeting organised by the DMK today.
Party MLAs, MPs, district secretaries and Lok Sabha election coordinators took part in the meeting chaired by DMK president M K Stalin at Kalaignar Arangam in Anna Arivalayam. Speaking to mediapersons after the meeting, Stalin said the strategy for the upcoming Parliamentary election was also discussed.
