Chennai: Varalakshmi Sarathkumar starrer Echcharikkai Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam is crime thriller.

Sathyaraj plays a retired police officer in the film and how he solves the kidnap case of Varalakshmi forms the crux of the story.

Kishore and Yogi Babu are also acting in the film. Sarjun who made critically acclaimed short films Lakshmi and Maa has directed the movie.

Remember Sarjun had previously worked with ace director Mani Ratnam and AR Murugadoss. Echcharikkai Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam is all set to release on 24 August.
