Chennai: A 19-year-old man was caught by city police for carrying a series of bike theft in Porur.

According to the police, residents of Porur had lodged a complaint that two-wheeler theft was rampant in the neighbourhood.

Jumping into action, the police began examining the CCTV cameras installed at Jayabharathi Nagar. They found a man riding different two-wheeler on the same day.

They conducted an inquiry with Sivakumar who confessed to have stolen many two-wheelers. Police recovered six bikes from him.
