Chennai: With promises of high Return on Investment (RoI) on health benefit spends by corporate employees, through comprehensive breakdown and analysis, OurHealthMate, a San Francisco-based health and tech start-up, has launched a unique analytical technology platform.
On Thursday, having launched the platform, the firm said. the platform will empower the firms with business intelligence – financial and health analytics through mining health data of the company’s employees. The mined data is secured with 256-bit encryption that is used in banking sector to safeguard client’s details.
With 40 clients on hand, the start-up has set an objective to achieve transactions over Rs 12 million and has already showing steady rise with 20 per cent month-on-month growth.
Addressing the media at a press conference in the city, co-founder and CEO, OurHealthMate, Abhinav Krishna, said, “Our start-up is more oriented to prevent a condition from bothering the employees. With our extensive data, the employees can track the status of the health and take precautionary methods.”
“When we partner with hospitals, all the documents submitted by the doctors vetting the statements is validated by the team that exclusively works on this to avoid any kind of mishap,” added he.
Talking of the collected data, founding partner and chief strategy officer, Siddharth Upadhyaya, said, “Though we analyse an employee’s health with the data, it is our policy that no individual data will be given to the corporates. The company can assess the health status of the employees with overall statistics which we provide.”
The start-up has ongoing partnerships with 100+ healthcare service providers across Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai in Tamilnadu.
